#49 Latina Podcasters Are Breaking Barriers (and Teaching Lessons)
We are back with season two of the Latina Empowering Latinas podcast! I need to say that this has been a very, very long journey of really finding and reconnecting with my passion. It’s been a very long road, I’ve been an entrepreneur for over 20 years, I’ve been a therapist for that long, and there was always something about the energy of who we are as Latinas that I really didn’t get to experience exactly until I went away.
A big reason why I started this community and this platform and I trademarked the name and the podcast and the YouTube and more things coming, is because, when I started this entrepreneur journey, I was very fortunate where I did happen to find other women, because this is a very male-dominated industry, but I could not and did not find one person that looked or sounded like me. I did not find one Latina that was leading the way and was doing what I want to do. This platform is not to show you that I’m the best, but to show you that there is a Latina that looks and speaks like you and I’m hoping that I give you the courage, the inspiration, the motivation, and the fire that you need to say, you know what. there is somebody else in that industry like me and I’m not alone in this.
